Scott Walker, former member of the acclaimed ‘60s pop group The Walker Brothers, has announced that he will release a new solo album on Dec. 4 on 4AD. Entitled Bish Bosch, the new full-length will be Walker’s first proper album since 2006’s The Drift (Walker recently composed music for the ROH2 ballet Duet for One Voice, chorographed by Aletta Collins). According to a recently issued press release “if The Drift was a dark place, full of scorching orchestral textures and ominous rumblings, Bish Bosch is a tauter but more colourful experience, with greater emphasis on processed, abrasive guitars, digital keyboards and thick silences.” You can read more about the project in on Walker’s new website.
