Secretly Canadian announced this week a new addition to their family: Comedian Tig Notaro will be releasing her first album, Good One, with the Bloomington, Indiana label. Good One, which marks the first comedy album to be release on Secretly Canadian, is due out August 2 and will also feature a deluxe version complete with the DVD Have Tig At Your Party. Notaro recently guest starred on NBC’s Community, appeared on The Sarah Silverman Program and In The Motherhood, and has performed stand-up on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Good One is said to be full of fresh material about “Tig’s family tree, Mexican hotel door signs, birthing a dinosaur, and how ‘90s pop singer Taylor Dane is the easiest person in the world to run into.”
