Los Angeles four-piece Silversun Pickups are back with a new album, their first in three years (since 2012’s Neck of the Woods). The band’s fourth album will be titled Better Nature and is due out September 25 on their own label, New Machine Recordings. The band haven’t shared any new music from it yet, but the album’s first single, “Nightlight,” is set to debut August 6 via a video directed by Mark Pellington. Below is the tracklist and album cover.
Neck of the Woods’ producer Jacknife Lee (U2, Crystal Castles) returned to produce Better Nature, which was mixed by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails). A press release promises: “Richer, warmer, and more evocative than anything in their prior canon, Better Nature is Silversun Pickups’ most human music thus far.”

4. Friendly Fires
5. Nightlight
