Better Nature Out Now via New Machine Recordings

Los Angeles four-piece Silversun Pickups released their fourth album, Better Nature, back in September on their own label, New Machine Recordings. Last September the band shared “Circadian Rhythm (Last Dance)” via what they were calling an official audio video, although it was a full on black & white clip of the band performing the song in their rehearsal studio. Perhaps it makes sense now that the band has shared a new fuller on properly produced video for the song. It showcases glitter-adorned bassist Nikki Monninger, who sings the song in a smoky room and sometimes hugs a giant teddy bear. Watch it below via Stereogum, who premiered it.
Better Nature is the band’s first album in three years (since 2012’s Neck of the Woods). Neck of the Woods’ producer Jacknife Lee (U2, Crystal Castles) returned to produce Better Nature, which was mixed by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails).
