Fueling speculation with the release of their upcoming box set and their newly revealed song “Bury Our Friends,” Sleater-Kinney have announced No Cities To Love, their first album since 2005’s The Woods. Set for release on Jan. 20 in the U.S. and Jan. 19 internationally, bandmember Carrie Brownstein says in a press release “We sound possessed on these songs, willing it all—the entire weight of the band and what it means to us—back into existence.” No Cities To Love was produced by John Goodmanson, who produced the band’s Call the Doctor, Dig Me Out, All Hands on the Bad One, and One Beat.

Coinciding with the announcement the band has shared a lyric video for the now confirmed single “Bury Our Friends,” (free to download in exchange for an email address) as well the record’s official tracklist. A deluxe vinyl version of the LP will come with an etched, single-sided 12’’ with two bonus tracks.

The band is also heading out on tour in early 2015. Scroll down below to view the full list of upcoming shows.
