Sleigh Bells At Work on a New Album For 2013
Three Tracks Completed
Nov 01, 2012
Sleigh Bells
Despite the blistering pace they’ve kept in 2012, Sleigh Bells have found time to enter the studio to lay down three tracks for a new album. The follow-up to Reign of Terror will see the light sometime in 2013.
“Success never paralyzes us,” Alexis Krauss explained to The Huffington Post. “It pushes us forward constantly. We’re half-way through the new record.”
The new album might sound a bit different than previous efforts. “I use my voice in more of a, dare I say, traditional way,” says Krauss.
Guitarist Derek Miller praises his bandmate’s skills. I’m not spread quite as thin this time,” he says. “She’s doing most of the heavy lifting on this.”
