The Smashing Pumpkins
Veteran act Smashing Pumpkins has announced general tour information in support of the band’s latest release, Oceania.
Kicking off October 10 in Seattle, the band will perform Oceania in its entirety followed by a set of classics and “deep cuts.” Sean Evans, who assisted Roger Waters for the newest staging of The Wall, has prepared backing visuals for the tour.
Citi Card holders are eligible for presage, which begins August 27, through Citi’s Private Pass Program. General onsale and tour details have yet to be released, but VIP packages will be available, which may include elevated viewing access, a 3-song backstage performance and Q&A, autographed limited edition posters, an on-site VIP Concerige, a copy of Oceania, and exclusive merchandise, depending on the package.
You can see them perform “The Celestials” on the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” tonight—their first television performance supporting the album.
