As reported by Rolling Stone, Sparklehorse’s singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Mark Linkous took his own life on Saturday. His family has released a statement. “It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and family member, Mark Linkous, took his own life today. We are thankful for his time with us and will hold him forever in our hearts. May his journey be peaceful, happy and free. There’s a heaven and there’s a star for you.”
Sparklehorse released four albums: 1995’s Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot, 1998’s Good Morning Spider, 2001’s It’s a Wonderful Life, and 2006’s Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain. Last year Linkous collaborated with film director David Lynch and Danger Mouse on the Dark Night of the Soul project. The album was shelved because of a dispute with EMI, but it was announced last week that it would finally be coming out later this year.
Linkous previously attempted suicide in London while touring with Radiohead in 1996, in which he was actually clinically dead for two minutes. The attempted overdose left him wheelchair-bound for six months and resulted in him having to endure seven operations on his legs because the attempt left him unconscious for 14 hours with his legs pinned under him.
According to Rolling Stone, Linkous was nearly finished with a new album that was expected to be released on ANTI- Records.

Below are some Sparklehorse videos.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

OH NO, damn It, I was just starting to find myself in his music and had just discovered it. Genius, pure genius without restraints.

I just keep playing revenge and star eyes over and over. They haunt my intellect and consciousness in a way very few have ever before. Life is full of such beauty and ugliness simultaneously. I know nothing of him but his composing affects me like chopin, schumann and shubert, as well as lennon and McCartney

A lot of specialists state that mortgage loans aid people to live the way they want, just because they can feel free to buy needed things. Moreover, a lot of banks present bank loan for different persons.
