After a handful of performances in Europe, Spiritualized have announced a U.S. date for a start to finish performance of their 1997 classic Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space. The sole gig is July 30 at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall, and is the last time the band will be performing the album in full according to their official website. Jason Pierce told Under the Radar back in December that early performances of the record and the attendant chemistry built with the backing band were sparking ideas for the as yet announced next Spiritualized LP, so this in essence could also be a sneak preview of the lineup assembling the follow-up to 2008’s Songs in A&E.
