Spoon Announce More Tour Dates, Including New Year’s Eve Shows
Hot Thoughts Out Now via Matador, Tenth Anniversary Reissue of Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Out October 20 via Merge
Sep 12, 2017 Spoon
Spoon released a new album, Hot Thoughts, back in March via Matador. They are also putting out a 10th anniversary reissue of 2007’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga on Merge on October 20. Now the band have announced some new fall tour dates. They include two shows to close out 2017, one on December 30 and one on New Year’s Eve, both at Washington DC’s 9:30 Club. Check out all of their upcoming dates below, followed by the videos for “Hot Thoughts” and “Can I Sit Next to You.”
Matador released Spoon’s debut album, 1996’s Telephono (although most of their albums came out via Merge and their last one, 2014’s They Want Your Soul, was released by major label subsidiary Loma Vista). Hot Thoughts was co-produced by Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, MGMT) and Spoon.
