
Spoon Announces First Dates In Planned World Tour, Move Up Release Date
Transference Out January 19th 2010, First Single Announced

Spoon has announced the first dates for a planned world tour in support of their seventh album, Transference. While the only confirmed United States date is a one New Years Eve gig at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the band has announced six U.K. and European dates. The release date for Transference has also been pushed up from January 26th to January 19th. Also, the band has announced that Transference‘s first single will be “Written In Reverse,” which will be released digitally on December 1st. It will also be released as a 7-inch on January 5th with the exclusive B-side “Mean Red Spider,” which won’t be released digitally.
