David Byrne’s Contemporary Color project features color-guard teams doing interpretive choreography while musicians perform live. After a recent show in Toronto, this past weekend the event was staged in Brooklyn. St. Vincent was one of the performers (along with Dev Hynes, How to Dress Well, Zola Jesus, tUnE-yArDs, Ira Glass, and others) and Annie Clark performed a brand new song, the depressingly titled “Everyone You Know Will Go Away.” Of course someone in the audience captured video of it, which you can watch below. It features the West Chester, Pennsylvania color guard team Field of View.
Also be sure to read our recent cover story interview with St. Vincent.
