St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) released her latest album, MASSEDUCTION, last October via Loma Vista. It was one of our Top 100 Albums of 2017. A few weeks back she shared “Fast Slow Disco,” a new, more dance floor ready version of the album’s delicate string backed track “Slow Disco.” “Fast Slow Disco” was one of our Songs of the Week and she performed it on Later… with Jools Holland. Now “Fast Slow Disco” has a video. Zev Deans directed the clip, which features Clark as the lone female dancing at a gay club, which then turns into an orgy, and then a romantic slow dance session. Watch it below.

Clark had this to say about the song in the video’s YouTube description: “I always felt this song could wear many different outfits and live many different lives. Here she is in disco pants, sweating on a New York dance floor.”
