St. Vincent Shares “Slow Slow Disco,” a New Version of “Slow Disco”

St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) released her latest album, MASSEDUCTION, in October 2017 via Loma Vista. It was one of our Top 100 Albums of 2017. Back in June she shared “Fast Slow Disco,” a new, more dance floor ready version of the album’s delicate string backed track “Slow Disco.” Now she has shared a third version of “Slow Disco” that takes it in the other direction, to a more stripped down, piano-backed sound. It’s fittingly titled “Slow Slow Disco.” Check it out below.
Clark had this to say about the song in its YouTube description: “Songs are living things. They grow, they evolve, they change their moods and personalities over time. The latest version of ‘Slow Disco’ originally found on MASSEDUCTION.”
“Fast Slow Disco” was one of our Songs of the Week, she performed it on Later… with Jools Holland, and also shared a video for the track.
