Companion Piece to Break It Yourself
Oct 23, 2012
Andrew Bird
For those still wondering what Andrew Bird sounds like playing “old-timey” music in a barn around a single microphone, you can finally get the full experience by streaming the violin virtuoso’s new album Hands of Glory. A companion piece to Bird’s Break It Yourself released earlier this year, the new LP features reinterpretation of songs from the previous record as well as covers of classic country tunes from Townes Van Zandt to the Handsome Family. Due out Oct. 30 on Mom + Pop, Hands of Glory is streaming in full down below. (via The Guardian)
