Stream Memory Tapes’ New Album
Grace/Confusion Out Dec. 4
Nov 28, 2012 Memory Tapes
Grace/Confusion, the latest record from Memory Tapes, hits store shelves next week on Dec. 4. This morning a stream of the six-song full-length has made its way online. In an interview with MTV Hive, Memory Tapes’ Dayve Hawk said “At the time I made this record, I felt like a mess… I wanted the record to seem like a mess. I didn’t want three-minute singles; that didn’t seem appropriate… When I was looking back at my previous records, I felt I had put too many limitations on myself. I got tired of that and I wanted to lift all the restrictions I had put on myself. I was in a place where I was kind of confused and lost in general, in life, and I decided to embrace that and make almost a prog record or something that would usually be fueled by bad judgment. I wanted to do it intentionally as being representative of my state of mind.” Click below to stream the new album.

I was really awestruck after listening to this new song they have released. In fact, this was the first ever song I was hearing from them. They do have got some sweet musical composition skills and that makes their songs so nice to listen to.
