Oct 20, 2014 The Flaming Lips By Mike Hilleary

Just as they done with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, The Flaming Lips will release a cover album of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Ahead of the effort’s arrival on Oct. 28, the entire work is now streaming in full on NPR.org.

Titled With a Little Help From My Fwends the covers album features guest help from My Morning Jacket, Moby, Miley Cyrus, MGMT, Tegan and Sara, Dr. Dog, J. Mascis, and Foxygen.

Proceeds from the album will benefit the Bella Foundation, an organization based in Oklahoma City that provides help to low income, elderly, or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of their veterinary care.
