Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio is set to release his debut solo album this Friday (September 18) via Glassnote. He’s going simply under his last name and the album is titled The Names after a Don DeLillo novel from 1982 of the same name. Now you can stream the whole thing below via Noisey, who premiered it and also interviewed Baio about the record.
We’ve already heard “Brainwash yyrr Face” and “The Names,” and seen the videos for “Sister of Pearl” (featuring Baio dancing around London, where he’s based these days) and “Endless Rhythm” (featuring Baio in downtown Los Angeles at night).
