Only yesterday Fever Ray (aka Karin Dreijer, formerly one half of the Swedish duo The Knife) announced a new album, Plunge, for a somewhat surprise release digitally today via Mute (with a physical release planned for February 23, 2018). And so now you can stream the whole album below.
The album is Fever Ray’s first since 2009’s self-titled debut album and includes “To the Moon and Back,” a new song she shared last week via a strange video (which you can watch again below). Dreijer also shared a long statement kind of about the album (but more about love and relationships), which you can read here.
Plunge was mainly recorded in Karin Dreijer’s Stockholm studio. Dreijer collaborated with various producers on the album, including Paula Temple, Deena Abdelwahed, NÍDIA, Tami T, Peder Mannerfelt, and Johannes Berglund.
