British psych-rock band TOY are releasing a new album, Clear Shot, next Friday (October 26) via Heavenly. Previously they had shared its first three singles “Fast Silver,” “I’m Still Believing,” and “Clouds That Cover the Sun,” as well as a video for “I’m Still Believing” and a remix of “I’m Still Believing” by Cavern of Anti-Matter (the trio that’s led by Stereolab’s co-founder Tim Gane). Now you can stream the whole album via NPR First Listen. Listen below.
Clear Shot is the band’s third album, the follow-up to 2013’s Join the Dots, and was mixed by Chris Coady. Last year TOY also collaborated with Bat For Lashes (aka Natasha Khan) and producer Dan Carey as SEXWITCH. SEXWITCH’s self-titled album featured six covers of songs by artists from different countries, including two songs each from Iran and Morocco and one song each from Thailand and America.
