As reported by Asthmatic Kitty, Sufjan Stevens will be blessing North America with a brief tour…well, part of it anyway. While the west coast tries to keep its bitterness to a minimum, the elusive singer/songwriter will be teaming with label-mates Cryptacize for an intimate tour of the east, begining September 12th.

The official Asthmatic Kitty announcement clarifies that while Sufjan is busy with side-projects, including upcoming BQE film and soundtrack, this is a non-related tour. So if you’re looking to feel the Illinoise in Illinois, chances are you’ll be in luck.
