Feb 28, 2017 Sylvan Esso
Sylvan Esso have announced a new album, What Now, and shared a song from it, “Die Young.” They have also announced some tour dates. What Now is due out April 28 via Loma Vista. Check out the video for “Die Young” below (it involves a stolen cop car), followed by the album’s cover art and the band’s upcoming tour dates. Also below is a brief teaser trailer for the album.
What Now is the follow-up to 2014’s self-titled debut album. Two songs from the album, “Radio” and “Kick Jump Twist,” were previously released by the duo as a 12-inch last November and both those songs are below too. A press release promises: “It’s an album that is both political and personal, and blurs the line between the two.”
