Tanlines
Leading up to the release of their new sophomore album Highlights next month, New York duo Tanlines have decided to have a little fun in getting the word out. Yesterday the band launch what is essentially a fully functional parody site of Netflix Instant, providing links to their previous works, music videos, as well as their brand new songs “Invisible Ways” and “Slipping Away,” the last of which appear as fictional movies starring members Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm. The pair even put together real links to their own movie and TV categories, including “Movies And TV That You Might Not Have Realized Are About Jews” or “American Actors Doing British Accents.”
In addition to the website, Tnalines have also announced plans for a tour this summer. Scroll down below to view the upcoming schedule of shows and click here to explore the website. Highlights comes out May 19 in North America and May 18 in Europe on True Panther.
