The Black Keys and LCD Soundsystem Give Some Late Night Love
Feb 15, 2011
LCD Soundsystem
Fresh off their Grammy wins for Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, The Black Keys made a victory lap visit to the set of Conan last night to perform their latest single “Howlin’ For You.” While it lacks the violent sex appeal of the song’s official music video, viewers were treated to clean-faced Dan Auerbach sporting a look straight out of The Outsiders. Check out the video below via The Audio Perv.
Also in the late night mix was LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, who made a visit to The Colbert Report to perform “I Can Change” and talk about his announced retirement. Engaged in a recent scuffle with scalpers over his farewell show at Madison Square Garden, Murphy is preceeding the big send off with four additonal shows at Terminal 5, scheduled to go on sale on Feb. 18.
