Akron duo The Black Keys joined (former) Ohio brethren The National with a #3 Billboard Albums chart debut this week (The National’s High Violet achieved that chart position the prior week). Brothers is Dan Auerbach and Pat Carney’s fifth full-length and first since the Danger Mouse-produced 2008 Attack & Release (Danger Mouse reprised that role for Brothers’ “Tighten Up”). The 73,369 units sold for the Keys’ is their best debut to date. It’s probably not because of the cover. (Meanwhile, Band of Horses’ Infinite Arms debuted at #7.)

Also, The Black Keys performed “Tighten Up” on the Late Show with David Letterman last night. Check out that video below, along with their tour dates.

So, I’ve been to this venue before, and my seats were in the side section of the 100s-covered seating, which i the closer to the stage of the two sections. I was wondering if anyone who has ever possibly sat there and in the 200s or lawn could share their experience-is it worth sitting back therE? Obviously to see the band, but do you feel too far away you can’t connect/anything like that? This is for DMB, by the way, I think most tickets for the lower section is already sold out.

So if anyone could shed some light on how sitting in the farther back sections are that would be great.. thanks (: Right now live nation is giving me in section 203 (the middle back) and row X , which is pretty far back that section.
