Jun 27, 2012 Black Lips
The Middle East may not be the most hospitable place in the world, but that hardly stopping punk quartet The Black Lips from spending two whole weeks touring the desert landscape in support of their most recent album, the coincidently titled Arabia Mountain. “We want to play everywhere on the planet, and the opportunity came up. We couldn’t say no,” says band bassist and vocalist Jared Swilley in an issued statement. “Anywhere that we haven’t been excites us. Not many western bands have toured the region and to be one of the first is amazing. Adventures are the best.” Those of you who may find yourself in the countries of Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq and Lebannon this coming September, you can view the band’s full list of stops below.
