
The Cure Announce First Album in Six Years
"Trilogy" Shows Scheduled for 2014

The Cure have announced the release of their first new album in six years. Tentatively titled 4:14 Scream, the new studio effort was recorded during the same sessions that yielded 2008’s 4:13 Dream. With a firm due date yet to be revealed, the LP will be released along with a series of live concert DVDs.
In addition to the new record, Robert Smith and the band have also announced plans to embark on new round of “Trilogy” shows later this year, performing albums The Top, the Head on the Door, and Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me in their entirety. Previous installments featured performances of Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodfloowers in 2002 and Three Imaginary Boys,Seventeen Seconds, and Faith in 2011.
