The Dead Weather have announced their first ever show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on April 14th. Tickets go onsale today at 10am EST, and there will be a 2 ticket limit.
The group consists of Jack White (The White Stripes/The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (Queens Of The Stone Age), Jack Lawrence (The Greenhornes/The Raconteurs), Alison Mosshart (The Kills). Their first album, Horehound, is due out in June and was recorded and produced by Jack White at his Nashville-based Third Man Studio.
Two songs—“Hang You From The Heavens” and “Are Friends Electric?”—are available through iTunes and on a limited edition 7” vinyl.
