With his band currently working on a follow up to 2011’s Degeneration Street, The Dears frontman Murray Lightburn has taken the opportunity to release a solo album. The street date of MASS:LIGHT is simply listed as being available via direct mail order. Here’s the catch: It’ll only be available on vinyl. Yup, you may want to buy that turntable now.
Other interesting facts about the album: the first single “Motherfuckers” will be available via YouTube on Father’s Day. Oh the hilarity…
