The Decemberists To Perform “Castaways and Cutouts” In Its Entirety
May 30 in Portland, Oregon
Mar 06, 2014 The Decemberists
Decemberists fans, start your engines. The Portland-based orchestral rock collective will return to the stage on May 30. The show, set to take place at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon, is a benefit for Victory Academy, a local school for kids with autism. You’re going want to get in on this—they’ll be performing their 2002 debut album Castaways and Cutouts in its entirety. Plus a selection of “sentimental favorites” (which, judging by the passion of Decemberists aficionados means “everything.”). Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon PST. Get more information about the event here.
