Alison Mosshart’s attraction stems from a strange combination of confidence and danger. She’s comes off as the kind of person who could just as easily fall in love with you, only to turn around and blow cigarette smoke in your face with a smile on hers. This personality was on full display last night when Mosshart and Jamie Hince, aka The Kills, performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Playing “You Don’t Own the Road” off their most recent record Blood Pressures, the duo crunched through the set all on their own, with Hince laying riffs through a half-dozen amps and Mosshart flailing herself and her mess of raven black hair about the stage.
