The Last Shadow Puppets
The Last Shadow Puppets (the duo of Miles Kane and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner) released their long-awaited sophomore album, Everything You’ve Come to Expect, back in April of this year via Domino. Now the band has announced a new EP, The Dream Synopsis EP, and shared a video for their cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Is This What You Wanted.” The EP is due out December 2nd via Domino and includes re-recorded versions of previous tracks “Aviation” and “The Dream Synopsis,” as well as covers of songs by Jacques Dutronc, The Fall, and Glaxo Babies. The “Is This What You Wanted” video is below, followed by the EP’s tracklist and cover art.
The band recorded the EP live in one day ay Future-Past Studios in Hudson, NY. Focus Creeps directed the “Is This What You Wanted” video. The EP will be released digitally, on CD, and on limited edition red vinyl.

Really painfully bad. Like some teenage boy in front of his mirror doing karaoke Leonard Cohen, over-emoting the lyrics for the girl audience in his imagination.
