The Lemonheads Announce First Album in Nine Years, Share New Yo La Tengo Cover “Can’t Forget”

The Lemonheads (the project led by Evan Dando) have announced a new album, Varshons 2, which is their first in nine years. It’s a covers record and they have shared its opening track, a cover of Yo La Tengo’s “Can’t Forget.” Varshons 2 is due out on February 8, 2019 via Fire. It’s the follow-up to 2009’s Varshons, also a covers album. This one also features covers of songs by Paul Westerberg, The Eagles, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and more.
