After spending a bit of time promoting their most recent album Love At the Bottom of the Sea over in Europe, Stephin Merritt and The Magnetic Fields have set aside time to return to the states, scheduling a select number of shows for the coming fall. Opening for the band will be the band’s very own merch vendor Emma Straub. While she won’t be playing any kind of music, she will be reading from her debut novel Laura Lamont’s Life in Pictures.
