The Mountain Goats and Owen Pallett Collaborate on New Material for Ecstatic Music Festival
John Darnielle Will Perform a Special Set at the Festival on March 24

The Mountain Goats
The Mountain Goats frontman, John Darnielle will perform new songs from Transcendental Youth with vocal group Anonymous 4 at Ecstatic Music Festival on March 24. The songs were arranged by Owen Pallett.
On the Ecstatic Music Festival website, the songs from Transcendental Youth “visit a small community on Puget Sound in Washington, north of Seattle at the foot of Glacier Peak, and are inhabited by the mournful voices of the isolated and the lost in motels and apartment complexes around Snohomish County.”
The performance will take place at Merkin Concert Hall in Manhattan.
