TV on the Radio
It’s been three years—almost as long as Panda Bear‘s Noah Lennox has been making us wait—since TV on the Radio last released an album, but the band’s LP hiatus is finally over. TV on the Radio announced today Nine Types of Light, the anticipated follow-up record to 2008’s Dear Science. An approximate release date has yet to be revealed, but the album is expected to drop sometime this spring.
We can look forward to hearing a more emotionally in-tune side from the genre-bending rock outfit. According to the band’s press release, Nine Types of Light is “packing some heartstring heat.”
Springtime will also bring TV on the Radio a national tour, which kicks off April 13 at Radio City Music Hall. Tickets go onsale Friday.
