The Shins have announced a new album, Heartworms, and shared a lyric video for its single, “Name For You.” “Heartworms” is due out March 10 via Aural Apothecary/Columbia. It includes “Dead Alive,” which the band shared last October. The band have also announced some tour dates. Below is the album’s tracklist and cover art, as well as “Name For You” and the single’s cover art, the band’s tour dates, and “Dead Alive” again.
Heartworms is the follow-up to 2012’s Port of Morrow. As usual, it was all written by frontman James Mercer, but this is the first Shins album since 2001’s Oh, Inverted World that Mercer has also self-produced (with the exception of “So Now What,” which was produced by Richard Swift).
