Album would be first since 1994

The Stone Roses
The Stone Roses will be reuniting for a handful of shows this June and July, and if what frontman Ian Brown has told NME is true, they might be trying out some new songs. Brown has confirmed that the group is working on new material in a short interview outside Church Studios, a London recording studio run by Paul Epworth (Adele, Coldplay). While Brown didn’t go in-depth what the recording entailed, he said the recording process is going “like a dream” and that “glorious” new music is coming soon. Check out footage below.
The band’s last album, Second Coming, came out in 1994. The Stone Roses first dissolved in 1996, and then reformed in 2012.
