The Strokes Perform on “SNL”

Kick-starting what one can only assume to be the first in a number of televised, late night appearances, The Strokes performed on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. While being introduced by Miley Cyrus can be counted as one of the least rock moments of their career, the band countered the lameness fairly well, playing “Under Cover of Darkness” and “Life is Simple in the Moonlight” off their upcoming album Angles. Just for good measure frontman Julian Casablancas even threw in a f-bomb for the live audience. You can check out both performances below courtesy of The Audio Perv.
