The Swell Season Subject of New Documentary

Ever since their breakthrough, Academy Award-winning collaboration on the 2006 film Once, the relationship between songwriters Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova has served as an integral part of their band The Swell Season. This relationship is being given an in-depth examination in an upcoming documentary, following Hansard and Irglova as their fictionalized romance developed into something real, only to fracture and develop into a different kind of love altogether. You can check out the trailer below or over at Apple. The Swell Season hits theaters in October. Irglova’s debut solo album Anar is out Oct. 11.
