The Walkmen Sign to Fat Possum, Line Up Performances
Band to Play MOMA, SXSW, and Brooklyn’s The Bell House
Feb 10, 2010 The Walkmen
New York-based rockers The Walkmen recently signed to Fat Possum. While busy recording their follow-up to 2008’s You & Me, they’re finding time to step outside the studio and perform a few one-off gigs.
March 3rd will see the band at MOMA’s Opening Night Armory Show Benefit.
Of course, this March The Walkmen (and every other band on earth) will be playing the SXSW festival. On the 17th they’ll be playing NPR’s showcase at Stubbs, sharing the bill with Spoon.
Need an April Fools’ Day surprise? They’ll be at The Bell House in Brooklyn, previewing songs off the forthcoming album.
