The War on Drugs will be releasing their sophomore effort, Slave Ambient, August 16 via Secretly Canadian. The release will not only be available in CD/LP/digital form, but also as a cassette, which will include six exclusive bonus tracks. The A-side features the original Slave Ambient while the B-side “is a collection of ambient tracks where The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel isolates some of those deep textures and heavy layers from the album proper,” according to a press release. The War on Drugs have also added more North American tour dates. Check out the cassette’s B-side tracklisting, new tour dates, and listen to “Come to the City” below.
