The War on Drugs have announced a new live album, Live Drugs Again, and shared “Burning” from it. They have also covered Tom Petty’s “You Wreck Me” for the soundtrack to the Apple TV+ show Bad Monkey. Live Drugs Again is due out next Friday, September 13, via Super High Quality Records. Check out both tracks below, followed by the album’s tracklist and cover artwork, as well as the band’s upcoming tour dates.

Live Drugs Again was recorded on tour between February 2022 through December 2023 in America, UK, Europe, and Australia. It follows 2020’s Live Drugs.

Bandleader Adam Granduciel had this to say in a press release: “Live Drugs Again chronicles the evolution of these songs from the studio to stages all over the world; documenting our continued growth as a live band. This series ensures that these versions, and some of our favorite moments on stage, will live on.”

Bad Monkey is a detective comedy that stars Vince Vaughn. Each episode features a different Tom Petty cover. The soundtrack also features Eddie Vedder, Jason Isbell, Weezer, Sharon Van Etten, and Kurt Vile.
