The White Stripes’ acclaimed 2001 album White Blood Cells will be receiving a reissue for its 20th anniversary. The reissue, titled White Blood Cells XX, will be released by Third Man Records, and will be made available via subscription to the label’s website, open now through April 30. The band has also shared an alternate take of the original album’s “Fell in Love With a Girl,” and a behind-the-scenes clip from the album’s recording sessions was shared by the label. White Blood Cells XX contains a red LP consisting of previously unreleased alternate takes from the album along with original demos, a white LP which contains a live performance from Headliners in Louisville, Kentucky, an hour-long DVD which documents the creation of the album, and a 12-inch by 12-inch booklet containing rare posters, flyers, photos, and much more.
