Today, The xx announced via Facebook that work has begun on their sophomore album. Noted the band on their wall, “We have started recording our second album! We have also started a blog where we will post our inspirations + pictures + favourite songs. We hope you enjoy it! Lots of Love, The xx.” No news yet as to when the follow-up to their 2010 Mercury Prize-winning debut will drop, but good to their word, the band is already posting photo inspirations.
