Theophilus London and Tame Impala (aka Kevin Parker) have been teasing a collaboration together for a little while, performing live together in Los Angeles earlier this month. A couple of weeks ago their track together, a cover of Steve Monite’s 1984 song “Only You,” premiered on Beats 1 radio. Now the track has a video featuring both London and Parker. Befitting the song’s origin, the video has a bit of an ‘80s vibe. Watch it below, followed by the original version of the song.
There’s no word of an album between the two artists. Back in 2015 Tame Impala released their excellent third album, Currents (which was #2 on Under the Radar‘s Top 100 Albums of 2015 list).
