Tim Heidecker Announces New Album, Shares Video for “In Glendale”
In Glendale out 5/20 via Rado Records
Mar 25, 2016 Tim Heidecker
Tim Heidecker recently announced that his first solo album, In Glendale, will be released on 5/20 via Rado Records, the brand new Jagjaguwar imprint from Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado. He also shared the video for the title track. For the last decade, Heidecker has been best known as one-half of Adult Swim comedy series “Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” and “Tim & Eric’s Bedtime Stories.” But he has a life outside comedy as this album shows the more pedestrian side of his life. He resides on a hill in Glendale, CA, and the album’s press release mentions that he’s “up to his armpits in diapers, bills, his mortgage, in the workaday life of a writer.” It’s his first album under his full name. The album is full of bar rock, ballads and folk. And, of course, there’s plenty of humor from his casual life observations.
