In the digital age we usually see albums before we hear them, so not only do album covers bear the weight of first impressions, they become, in our memory, the visual manifestations of the music itself. This is a pretty interesting list. I seen a lot of art involved with the top 40. They are probably popular album covers considering how well they were designed to catch your eye. It definitely had my attention to see each one because of the amount of catch able covers.
