Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Win Oscar For Best Score

While last’s night Academy Awards offered little in the way of surprising wins, a slight reprieve came when Nine Inch Nails head Trent Reznor, who along with frequent collaborator Atticus Ross, were awarded Best Original Score for their soundtrack to the The Social Network. Reznor and Atticus are already working again with director David Fincher, scoring the forthcoming adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, scheduled for release on Dec. 21 of this year.
