Celebrating her birthday today, singer/songwriter Merrill Garbus, a.k.a. tUnE-yArDs, has announced the release of her newest album Nikki Nack. The follow-up to her 2011 LP w h o k i l l, the record is due out May 6 via 4AD. Coinciding with the announcement Garbus has shared a “megamix” of the album, which includes quick snippets from the finished full-length. “I’ve put together a mash-up of a lot of the songs from the album, so you can get a tiny taste,” says Garbus in a press release. “We really can’t wait to play this music for you. Thanks for all your support and patience while we cooked this chicken!”
